DORIS COLE
Doris Cole, FAIA, is an architect, author, and artist. She was a founding principal of Cole and Goyette, Architects and Planners Inc. with Hal Goyette, AIA AICP. She is the author of From Tipi to Skyscraper: A History of Women in Architecture, which was the first book on women in architecture in the United States.
Starting in 2007, Doris began painting watercolors. She started by incorporating old architectural tools and templates that were no longer in use for her architectural designs, but they brought a new and compelling aspect to watercolor.
